Blink Duration (% of a minute): refers to the time the eye was shut. It excludes downward and upward saccades before and after the blink respectively, and includes all zero x and y values between those saccades. It is represented as the number of zero x and y values divided by total test time x as a percentage.
Blink Rate (# seconds): refers to how many blinks occurred over the total test time (frequency of blinks). It is represented as the total number of blinks divided by the total test time to report the users blink rate (one blink every metric number of seconds).
Extended Blinks (#): refers to the number of blinks over 500ms. This refers to the time the eye was shut. It excludes downward and upward saccades before and after the blink, respectively, and includes all zero x and y values between those saccades. This is represented as the number of 500ms or longer blinks/total test time.
