RightEye Device Sale/Transfer Policy
Existing RightEye customers may sell, donate, or otherwise give their RightEye system hardware to any practice, organization, or individual they choose. The hardware transaction is entirely between the two parties involved; RightEye will not be involved in the transaction. Please note that devices purchased from RightEye Customers do not come with a warranty. To purchase a limited warranty, you must contact the RightEye Customer Success Team.
To initiate a transfer of a new device from one customer to the next, both the original customer and the new customer must follow the steps below:
- The original owner must provide RightEye with written notice of the transaction with the new owner’s information, including company name, contact name, contact email, and phone number.
- Once RightEye receives the new customer’s information, RightEye will contact the new customer to get them started as a new RightEye provider.
- Once the device is transferred to a new entity, the prior software maintenance period has expired and cannot be applied to the transferred entity.
- The new customer must purchase a software license subscription directly from RightEye and pay the software activation fee. Both the software and activation fee must be paid in full before the new customer’s account has been activated.
- After the system has been activated, the new customer will have a direct support session with the RightEye technical support team to update your device for use
Please note that this policy is effective May 1, 2024.
