Device Sale/Transfer Policy

Existing RightEye customers may sell, donate, or otherwise give their RightEye system hardware to any practice, organization, or individual they choose. The hardware transaction is entirely between the two parties involved; RightEye will not be involved in the transaction.

In order to fully support both the original customer and new customer, the following requirements must be met:

  • Original owner must provide RightEye written notice of the transaction with the new owner’s information, including company name, contact name, contact email and phone number.
  • New customer must purchase a software license subscription directly from RightEye under the following conditions:
      • If the original customer’s software license subscription is not active at the time of hardware transaction, the new customer must purchase a new software license subscription plan offered by RightEye.
      • If the original customer’s software license subscription is active at the time of hardware transaction, the new customer will sign a new software license subscription agreement with RightEye and either:
          1. Begin a new software license subscription plan (12 mo., 24 mo., or 36 mo.) currently offered by RightEye, or
          2. Assume and utilize the original customer's existing software license subscription until it expires, and then begin a new software license subscription plan (12 mo., 24 mo., or 36 mo.) currently offered by RightEye.

Please note:

  • If the original customer’s software license subscription plan is a defunct plan no longer offered by RightEye, upon expiration of the defunct plan the new customer must subscribe to an active RightEye plan.
  • If the original customer’s software license subscription plan is a Lifetime Subscription and the device is sold or transferred outside of the existing practice or company, the new owner will receive 12 months of an active subscription and then must subscribe to an active RightEye plan after 12 months.

The original factory warranty will carry over with the hardware transaction, and will be valid for the new owner until the original warranty expiration date.

Once RightEye receives the new customer’s information, RightEye will contact the new customer to get them started as a new RightEye provider.
