We opened our chiropractic neurology clinic in January of 2019, and one of our first patients will always stick with me because of her incredible transformation. Her long journey to health started as many others - frequent headaches, reading (once a favorite past time) becoming a dreaded activity, and struggling with school work and social activities. Our young patient came to us with complaints of chronic headaches and neck pain.
Previously, she had been diagnosed with a visual processing disorder, which led to struggles with school work associated to her headaches, fatigue, anxiety and reading issues. Using RightEye technology, along with other diagnostic techniques, we were able to pinpoint the root cause of her symptoms and immediately implement an appropriate treatment plan.
Using specific exercises provided by the EyeQ Trainer along with individualized home therapy recommendations, she was able to see remarkable success in just a few short months. It really felt like night and day. Now, she happily reports that she enjoys reading and drawing, and her mom is proud to tell us that she is getting high marks across the board in each of her courses. She also reports no longer experiencing episodes of severe anxiety and has been involved with her church youth group. The best part? She now volunteers as a reading tutor to young children at her local library. The girl who had reading troubles is now the teacher. As a clinician, it doesn't get better than that.
